1. 글쓰기
* 나는 왜 공부를 하는가?
* 사람은 왜 공부를 해야 하는가?
* 나는 무엇을 알고 싶은가?
: 한 주제를 선택해서 A4 한 장 분량으로 글을 써서 yearnee@haja.or.kr로 보내주세요. 9월 22일 전까지.
2. 번역 및 암송
子曰, 學而時習之, 不亦說乎.
The Master said,
'Is it not pleasant to learn with a constant perserverance and application?'
They who know the truth are not equal to those who love it,
and they who love it are not to those who delight lt.
(子曰, 知之者不如好之者 好之者不如樂之者)
Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters?
Is it not a man of complete virtue, who feels no discomposure though men may take no note of him?
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
Learn as though you would never be able to master it;
hold it as though you would be in fear of losing it.
Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change.
Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous.
Worry not that no one knows of you; seek to be worth knowing.
